ORIGIN OF THE NAME

I am Eva-Linda Victoria Ruda Ramnestedt.

Ruda is both my father's last name and the name of the small town in southern Sweden where I come from. When my father's grandparents moved from Ruda to Gothenburg, they took their last name with them to stay true to their roots and always remember where they came from.

Together with Espen, I have always dreamed of opening a restaurant that emphasizes local and tasty food, great drinks and first-class service, served in a relaxed atmosphere.

We want to create a place where people can gather for a nice chat, whether it's with friends, family or just with the bartender. Ruda should be the perfect setting for a first date, a family dinner, a gathering point for neighbors or a casual bite with colleagues after work.

Our philosophy is simple: happy and satisfied guests give us energy and make us happy.

We will go to great lengths to be the natural first choice when you want to go out and have a good meal or just enjoy a delicious cocktail. Both are made with knowledge and love for the craft.

We will always focus on local ingredients that come from fantastic farmers in the area – and we are proud to be able to serve their first-class products to our guests.

We hope you will help create the good atmosphere and generosity that Ruda will represent, and that we will see you soon at Kræmer Brygge.
